Volleyball Recap: Iowa Colony Pioneers vs. La Porte Bulldogs

After flying high against Fort Bend Kempner last Tuesday, Iowa Colony came back down to earth. The Iowa Colony Pioneers lost 3-0 to the La Porte Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-22.

Iowa Colony's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Breia Dixon, who had eight digs and two aces, and Taylor Bonner-Williams, who had 11 digs, six kills, and two blocks. Bonner-Williams has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 13 times she's played.
