Volleyball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Roncalli back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds fell 3-1 to the Royals. While the Greyhounds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Royals 25-20 in the first set.

Carmel started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Roncalli, the victory (which was their 38th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Carmel will challenge Hamilton Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roncalli, they will face off against Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th.
