Football Recap: Lower Merion Comes Up Short

Lower Merion lost against Marple Newtown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aces were dealt a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Fightin' Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Aces have lost by exactly 35 points.

Lower Merion's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Marple Newtown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lower Merion will take on rival Conestoga at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marple Newtown is set to challenge their familiar foe Penncrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
