Basketball Recap: Texas Takes a Loss

Texas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 40-30 to the Mt. Pleasant Tigers. The contest marked Texas' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Texas' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the court. Texas will head out to face Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th.
