Basketball Recap: Mid-Missouri Homeschool Snags 13th Victory in Last 14 Games

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool won the last time they faced Heritage Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks came out on top against the Heritage Academy Warrior by a score of 54-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mavericks.

Several Warrior players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kylen Larson, who posted 17 points. Larson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Kespohl, who put up 12 points.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Heritage Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunnydale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage Academy, they will head out to take on Ozarks Christian Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ozarks Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.5 points per game this season.
