 Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic was the  4-3 winner over Neumann-Goretti when they last played one another  back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas fell just short of the Neumann-Goretti Saints by a score of  4-3 on Wednesday.
 Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Harry Carr, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple and a  run. Carr has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Another player making a difference was  Irv Fisher, who  went 2-for-5 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 On Neumann-Goretti's side,  Jayce Park tossed a big game,   striking out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and not a single walk).
 At the plate,  Andrew Dankanich was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-6. The team also got some help courtesy of  Billy Smith, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record  this season. As for Neumann-Goretti, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Neumann-Goretti will take on La Salle College at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. La Salle College will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something Neumann-Goretti surely won't give up without a fight.
