Baseball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Liberty Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jones Trojans, falling 15-1. The Heat haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Liberty Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jones, their record is now 5-6.

Liberty Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 win against American Leadership Academy on the 27th. As for Jones, they will square off against Lejeune at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lejeune has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something Jones will no doubt try to take advantage of.
