Basketball Recap: Air Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to 14

Air Academy extended their road winning streak to 14 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Tatyonna Brown. The Air Academy Kadets blew past the Lewis-Palmer Rangers, posting a 66-38 victory thanks in part to Brown, who went 10 for 12 on her way to 22 points and eight boards. Her evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Kinley Asp was another key player, going 6 of 15 en route to 16 points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Air Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Lewis-Palmer, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Air Academy will square off against Discovery Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will take on Pueblo East at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
