It was a good run, but Sunny Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the St. John Bosco Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Sunny Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for St. John Bosco, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Sunny Hills and St. John Bosco should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Sunny Hills will square off against El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 223 places (89 vs. 312). Meanwhile, St. John Bosco (ranked 18th) will meet North (ranked 93rd) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
