Volleyball Game Preview: Rapid City Central Cobblers vs. Harrisburg Tigers

Rapid City Central is 1-6 against Harrisburg since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Cobblers will head out to challenge the Tigers at 9:00 a.m.

On Friday, Rapid City Central came up short against Watertown and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg entered their tilt with Spearfish on Friday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Harrisburg took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12.

Harrisburg's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Rapid City Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

Rapid City Central couldn't quite get it done against Harrisburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cobblers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
