Basketball Recap: Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Takes a Loss

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles, falling 61-26. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 808th in Florida, while the Orioles are ranked 43rd in Maryland).

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind has already played their next contest (against Warner Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Maryland School for the Deaf will head out on the road to take on Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maryland School for the Deaf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Hancock likes a good challenge.
