Basketball Recap: North Jackson Skates Past Woodville with Ease

North Jackson won the last time they faced Woodville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The North Jackson Chiefs took their game with ease, bagging a 64-37 victory over the Woodville Panthers. Given the Chiefs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Panthers are ranked 345th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Jackson has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Woodville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

North Jackson has already played their next game, a 61-37 defeat against North Sand Mountain on the 16th. As for Woodville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-23 win against Valley Head on the 17th.
