Basketball Recap: Jesup Triumphs

Jesup won the last time they faced Oelwein and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jesup J-Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 win over the Oelwein Huskies.

Jesup's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Oelwein, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Jesup will take on Sumner-Fredericksburg at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Oelwein, they will welcome Union at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Union will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Oelwein surely won't give up without a fight.
