Basketball Recap: John Jay Comes Up Short

John Jay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ketcham The Storm, falling 54-34. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 71-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

John Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ketcham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Arlington the next time they take the court. John Jay will host Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th, while Ketcham will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 21st.
