Basketball Recap: Jayonta Blanchard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat East Wake

Fike hadn't done well against East Wake recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Golden Demons walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Warriors. The Golden Demons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fike to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayonta Blanchard, who posted 14 points and four steals. Blanchard is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'Qavis Greene, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.
