Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

Oakwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salt Fork Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Despite the loss, Oakwood still got an impressive performance from Kendyl Rogers, who had 16 digs.

Oakwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Salt Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oakwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Schlarman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Salt Fork will square off against rival Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
