Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest lost against Brighton back in September of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies lost 6-1 to the Bengals. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Hillcrest couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Blackbourn, who's now up to two this season.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Brighton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Hillcrest will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Hunter at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Hillcrest's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Brighton, they have already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Wasatch on the 15th.
