Softball Preview: Pineville Mountain Lions vs. Berea Pirates

The Pineville Mountain Lions will stay at home for another game and welcome the Berea Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Pineville will bounce into Friday's game after beating Clay County, who they hadn't topped in four consecutive meetings. Pineville never let Clay County onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that Pineville has won by just one run.

Pineville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Berea, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
