Volleyball Recap: Pius XI Catholic Popes vs. Kenosha Christian Life Eagles
Pius XI Catholic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Popes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Hope Martens had a dynamite game for Pius XI Catholic, getting six digs, four kills, and two aces. Martens is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Rebecca Contreras was another key player, getting five aces and three digs.
She wasn't the only good server: Pius XI Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.
