Volleyball Recap: North Platte Comes Up Short

North Platte and Mid-Buchanan squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Platte had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Dragons. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Rylee Perkins paced North Platte's offense, picking up three kills. Perkins got some help from Leala Day and her five assists. Day also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brandy Johnson, each putting up two.

North Platte's loss dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Mid-Buchanan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11-4 record this season.

As of now, neither North Platte nor Mid-Buchanan have any future games scheduled.
