Johnalbert Cisneros Goes Supernova in George West Win

Starting off the list is George West's Johnalbert Cisneros, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cisneros rushed for 204 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

The win (which was George West's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Cisneros and George West will face off against Banquete at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Santa Rosa Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jj Anaya

Santa Rosa picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jj Anaya. Anaya did his part (and then some), rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.

Anaya and Santa Rosa will challenge Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors had to take a loss when they last met the Greyhounds, but Anaya had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Hinojosa Came Up Big in Odem's 46-23 Loss

John Hinojosa continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 104 rushing yards. He rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns.

Odem moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Hinojosa and Odem will head out to challenge Monte Alto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Teagan Collins Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Teagan Collins posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 77 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 122 yards on seven of 12 attempts.

On the season, Collins has thrown 5 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 134.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 10.73 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 88.57 passer rating.

Miguel Hernandez Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Miguel Hernandez of Banquete. Hernandez wasn't messing around on Thursday, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making six total tackles. The matchup was his third straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

Banquete is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Hernandez will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against George West on Friday.
