Football Recap: Mingo Central Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mingo Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Wayne Pioneers 28-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Miners also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2019.

Bam Coleman was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 90 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries.

Mingo Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aidan Burke and Donavon Valdelamar.

Mingo Central's record is now 3-0. As for Wayne, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mingo Central will venture away from home to face off against Man at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne, they will challenge Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
