Baseball Recap: Peshtigo Takes a Loss

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Peshtigo didn't have enough. They fell just short of the Algoma Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Caleb Klimek made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Ethan LaComb, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Peshtigo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Algoma, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Peshtigo has already played their next match (against Lena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Algoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
