Trinity Christian is 8-2 against Freedom Christian Academy since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Trinity Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Stafford out in front who went 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Baganley Donzo, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points in addition to six boards and three blocks.
Trinity Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Freedom Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Overhills on Saturday, taking the game 58-45. The 58-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Trinity Christian better keep an eye on Karsten Swinney. He was instrumental in Freedom Christian Academy's win, putting up 30 points and three steals. The game was Swinney's 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristian Sias, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 18 rebounds.
Freedom Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
