Volleyball Recap: Homer-Center Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Homer-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Conemaugh Township Indians. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Homer-Center was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Homer-Center saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taylor Rado had five digs, three aces, and one block.

Homer-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Conemaugh Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Homer-Center has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Conemaugh Valley on the 2nd. As for Conemaugh Township, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against River Valley on the 2nd.
