Basketball Recap: Platte/Geddes Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-28 to the Lower Brule Sioux.

Platte/Geddes now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lower Brule, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Platte/Geddes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-18 defeat against Canistota on the 6th. As for Lower Brule, they will head out to square off against Lyman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lyman will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lower Brule surely won't give up without a fight.
