Basketball Game Preview: Franklin County Lions vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines

The Franklin County Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin County will be strutting in after a victory while Prince Avenue Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Franklin County turned things around against Stephens County on Tuesday. They strolled past the Indians with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Prince Avenue Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 70-52 fall against Hart County.

Franklin County's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Franklin County took their victory against Prince Avenue Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 71-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Franklin County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
