Volleyball Recap: Dominion Academy Falls to CHESS Christian in First Game of Season

Dominion Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the CHESS Christian Royals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-20.

CHESS Christian found their leader in sophomore Sierra Schappacher, who had seven digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Schappacher.

The win got CHESS Christian back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dominion Academy will square off against rival Germantown Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, CHESS Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Royalmont Academy Classical Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
