D.H. Conley needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Cayden Hill. The Vikings took down the Jacksonville Cardinals 72-53 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Hill, who went 10-for-14 on his way to 24 points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Jacksonville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore DJ Williams shot 63% from the field to rack up 12 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Matt Williams was another key player, putting up 12 points.

D.H. Conley's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-9. As for Jacksonville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

D.H. Conley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-66 defeat against J.H. Rose on the 23rd. As for Jacksonville, they have also already played their next game, a 62-46 loss against White Oak on the 23rd.
