Baseball Recap: Lowry Comes Up Short

Lowry lost to Dayton on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buckaroos came up short against the Dust Devils, falling 9-2. The Buckaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connor Peterson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lowry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21-1. As for Dayton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

While Lowry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
