Volleyball Game Preview: Ben Lomond Scots vs. Providence Hall Patriots

Ben Lomond hasn't had much luck against Providence Hall recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Scots are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Patriots at 6:30 p.m.

Ben Lomond came up short against Granger on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Providence Hall had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Intermountain Christian as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Patriots not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Providence Hall never let Intermountain Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-22.

Ben Lomond might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Providence Hall when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Scots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
