Basketball Recap: Kiel Takes a Loss

Kiel lost against St. Mary's Springs back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kiel Raiders fell to the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers 46-42.

Kiel's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for St. Mary's Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kiel will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kewaskum at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for St. Mary's Springs, they will head out to take on Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lomira is on a three-game streak of home wins, St. Mary's Springs a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
