Imlay City lost to Lake Orion back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Spartans won by a set and slipped past the Dragons 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Lake Orion lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sarah Traynoff, who had 13 assists and three digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Wells, who had four digs and two aces.

Imlay City's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Lake Orion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8-1.

Imlay City has already played their next matchup (against Almont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lake Orion, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against North Farmington on the 13th.
