Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Falls Short of Riverside in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Northwestern and Riverside squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northwestern had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors.

Corinne Christopher had an outrageously good game for Riverside as she had 12 digs and four aces. Christopher has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Fahr, who had 18 digs.

Northwestern has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Riverside, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-8.

Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Greenville on the 27th.
