Basketball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the San Diego Cavers and fell 54-26. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Chargers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 95th in Nevada, while the Cavers are ranked 685th in California).

San Diego's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seniaah Simms, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Gianna Woodson was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for San Diego, they moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Clark didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-14 loss against Mojave on the 28th. As for San Diego, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-40 defeat against Sports Leadership & Management on the 28th.
