Recap: Juab Wasps vs. Beaver Beavers
The Juab Wasps lost against the Beaver Beavers back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Juab fell just short of Beaver by a score of 46-44. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Juab has scored all season.
Several Wasps players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Cuff, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Cuff scored a full 34.1% of Juab's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Emmy Lovell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Juab's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Beaver, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Juab won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Summit at 10:30 a.m. on December 16th. One thing working in North Summit's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. Beaver won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Richfield at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Richfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
