Baseball Recap: Hoxie Takes a Loss

Hoxie lost against Newport back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hoxie Mustangs lost 26-1 to the Newport Greyhounds. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoxie's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Newport, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoxie will face off against Delta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newport, they will challenge Des Arc at 5:30 p.m. on March 27th.
