Jefferson won the last time they faced Monroe and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Cheesemakers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Natalie Weber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Nevaeh Milbrath and Audrina Schroeder did most of the damage at the plate: Milbrath went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Schroeder went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Monroe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.
