Volleyball Recap: Snowflake Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Snowflake had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alchesay Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Snowflake walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-18.

Ranell West paced Snowflake's offense, picking up nine kills. West got some help from Hailey Jones and her 16 assists. Taya Schneider controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 28-8-4. As for Alchesay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will welcome Benjamin Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alchesay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Show Low at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
