Soccer Recap: Lake Mary Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Lake Mary had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Ocoee Knights 2-1. Given Lake Mary's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Ocoee are ranked 94th) , the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Lake Mary's third in a row) raised their record to 12-3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Ocoee, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-4.

Coming up, Lake Mary will take on West Orange at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ocoee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
