Baseball Game Preview: Kearsarge Cougars vs. Mascoma Royals

Kearsarge is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Mascoma a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Kearsarge Cougars will host the Mascoma Royals at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kearsarge fell victim to Bishop Brady and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Giants, falling 12-0.

Kearsarge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Sevigny, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Sevigny has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Mascoma lost 17-1 to Newfound Regional on Wednesday.

Kearsarge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mascoma, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
