Soccer Recap: Canyon Takes a Loss

Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the West Plains Wolves. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to Wolves from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West Plains, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Canyon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Pampa on the 14th. As for West Plains, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Borger on the 14th.
