Baseball Recap: Green Hill Comes Up Short

Green Hill and Clarksville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Green Hill had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-6. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Green Hill's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Clarksville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Green Hill and Clarksville will both be playing Oak Ridge the next time they take the field. The Hawks will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will host them on Friday.
