Basketball Recap: Peddie Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Peddie came into Wednesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 73-65 victory over the Pennington Red Hawks on Wednesday. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 77-70 loss the last time these two teams met.

Peddie's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Pennington, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-5.

Peddie and Pennington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Peddie will challenge James Buchanan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday up 529 places (28 vs. 557). Meanwhile, Pennington (ranked 12th) will meet Friends Select (ranked 93rd) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
