Baseball Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short

Woodsboro fell victim to Refugio and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 13-0 to the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Woodsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Refugio, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8-1.

Looking ahead, Woodsboro will face off against Yorktown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Refugio, they will head out to face off against Pettus at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
