Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Victorious

Lawrence County lost to Pleasant Valley back in August of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Red Devils came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0.

Ava Templeton paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up four kills. Templeton were helped by Kathryn Dutton and Alivia Terry, who contributed five assists each. Finally, Harper Long kept Lawrence County's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

The victory got Lawrence County back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lawrence County will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain Brook at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sand Rock at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
