Basketball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco Comes Up Short

Luxemburg-Casco was the 43-36 winner over Marinette when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marinette Marines. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Marines are ranked 161st).

Luxemburg-Casco has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Marinette, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luxemburg-Casco will challenge Oconto Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marinette, they will take on Wrightstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
