Leonardo Alvarez turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Laredo LBJ is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 7-12-1 otherwise.

Alvarez's strong effort led Laredo LBJ over Alexander and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 279 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
