Volleyball Recap: Central Columbia Bluejays vs. Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans
Central Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5, 25-9.
Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Central Columbia will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midd-West at 5:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they are taking a road trip to challenge Blue Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
