Baseball Recap: Pottsville Wins Going Away Against Clarksville

Pottsville hadn't done well against Clarksville recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Apaches were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Panthers. The game was the first time the Apaches have beaten the Panthers on their field since April 22, 2021.

Brody Blasingame looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eli Morris, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last eight matchups. Maddex Mergele was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
